Michael Page are excited to support a very successful and prestigious organisation to appoint for a HR Manager role based at a manufacturing site near Buxton. Due to the nature of this sector, the role is a fully office based role.
Description
The role of HR Manager will play a critical role to support leadership at this busy, fast-paced site. Working closely with the operational leadership team, you will provide expert guidance on all people matters associated with this manufacturing/supply chain division.
This will include but not limited to:
- Partner closely with site leadership and management providing expert advice on all people matters to ensure commercial goals are reached
- Support with recruitment projects and inductions
- Work closely with Trade Unions for the divisions
- Provide expert guidance and support on employee relations matters, ensuring positive outcomes
- Develop and implement training programmes to support employee development
- Lead on any change projects
- Analyse HR metrics and provide insights to support decision-making
- Collaborate with other departments to align HR strategies with business objectives
- Supporting workforce planning, succession planning and talent development

Profile
Successful applicants for this role will have:
- A proven background within a similar sector such as manufacturing/logistics
- A proven background within a unionised environment
- Be comfortable in a fully site based role, understanding the need for visibility within this sector
- Be comfortable dealing with a wide range of people matters ranging from supporting with administration and advisory duties through to partnering strategically with the site leadership
