HR & Office Administrator

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive HR & Office Administrator to play a key role in creating a positive employee and visitor experience. This is a varied position that combines office coordination, HR administration, onboarding support, learning and development administration, and executive support.

You'll be the face of the office, ensuring the workplace runs smoothly while supporting colleagues throughout the employee lifecycle.

What you'll be doing

  • Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, colleagues and external suppliers
  • Managing reception activities, meeting rooms, visitor arrangements and office facilities
  • Coordinating office services including post, couriers, stationery, catering and travel bookings
  • Supporting onboarding, employee lifecycle administration and HR documentation
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and updating HR systems
  • Assisting with payroll administration, purchase orders and general HR operations
  • Coordinating induction programmes, training events and learning administration
  • Providing administrative support to senior leaders and the wider People team
  • Building strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers and service providers
  • Identifying opportunities to improve administrative processes and employee experience

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience in an office administration, reception or customer-facing administrative role
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • A welcoming, professional and customer-focused approach
  • Strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative mindset

Desirable

  • Experience working within HR, People Operations or Learning & Development
  • Experience using HR systems or Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Knowledge of onboarding, induction or training administration
  • Exposure to payroll, purchasing or purchase order processes
  • Experience supporting senior leaders or executive teams
  • First Aid, Fire Marshal or Health & Safety training
