HR Officer - Forest of Dean

Are you a proactive HR professional with a genuine passion for people?
Our client, a growing manufacturing engineering business based in the Forest of Dean, is looking for a dynamic HR Officer to support its employees and managers as the organisation continues to develop.
This is a varied, hands-on position offering the opportunity to become an integral part of the business. You will provide practical HR support across the employee lifecycle while helping to create an engaged, positive and high-performing workplace.

Key Responsibilities of HR Officer
- Provide first-line advice on HR policies and employee matters
- Support recruitment, onboarding and employee changes
- Assist with absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases
- Maintain accurate HR records and documentation
- Coordinate training and performance-review activities
- Support payroll, reporting and wider HR projects
- Promote an inclusive and positive working culture

You will have…
- Experience within manufacturing, engineering or a similar environment would be advantageous.
- A CIPD qualification, or progress towards one, would also be welcomed.
