HR Officer, 5 month FTC - Leading Membership Organisation - c£32,500 - London with hybrid working

Morgan Hunt is looking for an organised and proactive HR Officer to join our client a membership body. You'll provide high-quality HR support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently, employee records are maintained accurately and colleagues receive a professional, customer-focused service.

What you'll do

  • Manage HR administration for starters, leavers and employee changes.
  • Prepare contracts, offer letters and other employment documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HR Information System (PeopleXD or similar).
  • Coordinate recruitment administration, interviews and pre-employment checks.
  • Manage the HR shared inbox and respond to HR enquiries.
  • Support payroll by processing employee changes.
  • Maintain compliance records, organisational charts and HR documentation.
  • Process purchase orders and invoices for the HR team.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and support service improvements.

Essential Requirements

  • Experience working in an HR administration or HR officer role.
  • Experience using an HR Information System (PeopleXD or similar).
  • Experience supporting the employee lifecycle, including starters, leavers and contractual changes.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
