Based in Sittingbourne

Permanent position

22.5 hours per week

£32,065 - £33,934 FTE (SAT E)

£19,499 - £20,636 Pro Rata

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Officer to join our central services team based in Sittingbourne.

This is a part-time role of 22.5 hours per week, we are happy to discuss which days these are worked.

As a HR Officer you will be providing an effective advisory and support function to schools within Swale Academies Trust.

You will be the key point of contact for new, current, and exiting staff in relation to their pay and pensions matters, as well as providing Headteachers and other senior leaders with advice and guidance on employee relations matters in consultation with the HR Business Partners.

This opportunity will challenge and develop your HR knowledge along with your organisational skills, so drive, enthusiasm and creativity is essential, as is a level 5 CIPD or be working towards one. You will be required to have up to date knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice along with an understanding of staff pay and payroll processes.

Previous experience of working within the education sector would be an advantage but it is not essential.
