HR Officer (Temporary Contract up to 6 Months)
Location: East London / (Hybrid - 1 day per week in the office)
Contract: Temporary, up to 6 months
Salary: £20 per hour
We are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Officer to join a busy and supportive HR team on a temporary basis for up to 6 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional with strong administration and onboarding experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and delivering a high-quality employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end new starter and onboarding process.
- Issue contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documentation.
- Ensure all pre-employment checks are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain employee records and update HR systems.
- Support hiring managers with onboarding queries and process guidance.
- Coordinate inductions and ensure a smooth transition for new employees.
- Monitor onboarding compliance and right-to-work documentation.
- Provide general HR administrative support across the employee life-cycle.

About You
- Previous experience in an HR Officer, HR Administrator, or HR Coordinator role.
- Strong understanding of onboarding and employee administration processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Able to manage a high-volume workload and prioritize effectively.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
