At Comfort Care Services, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Officer to join our growing HR & Training team and play a key role in supporting managers, developing our workforce, and driving best practice across the organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong working relationships, managing employee relations matters, and helping leaders create high-performing teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Providing day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees
- Supporting employee relations cases and helping resolve workplace issues effectively and professionally
- Monitoring compliance, workforce data, and HR metrics to support operational performance
- Assisting managers with organisational design, workforce planning, and succession planning
- Supporting the development and retention of our people through best practice HR initiatives
- Drafting and reviewing HR documents, policies, and procedures in line with employment legislation and company policies

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Experience in a HR Officer, HR Advisor, or HR Assistant role
- Experience handling employee relations matters
- Experience drafting HR policies, procedures, and employment documentation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyse data and produce meaningful insights
Desirable
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle, or ability to travel to operational sites regularly
- CIPD qualification or HR degree
- Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
