Role Description
The HR Officer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Uxbridge. The HR Officer will support day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records, administering HR policies and procedures, and assisting with recruitment and onboarding activities. The role involves advising managers and team members on HR-related queries, supporting employee relations matters, and helping to ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal standards. The HR Officer will contribute to the development and updating of job descriptions, support performance management processes, and assist in coordinating training and development initiatives. The position also requires collaboration with operational teams to promote a positive, inclusive workplace culture that aligns with the values of Comfort Care Services Ltd.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with the ability to support day-to-day HR operations and provide guidance to managers and team members.
- Strong understanding of HR Policies and employment legislation, with the ability to apply and communicate these policies clearly and consistently.
- Experience in Employee Relations, including supporting investigations, managing absence, and facilitating fair and constructive resolutions.
- Ability to develop, review, and maintain accurate Job Descriptions that reflect role requirements and organizational needs.
- Relevant HR qualification (e.g., CIPD Level 3 or above) or equivalent experience in a similar HR role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Good organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced care environment.
- Proficiency in HR information systems and standard office software (e.g., MS Office) and willingness to learn new systems as required.
- Experience working within social care, healthcare, or a regulated environment is an advantage.
