HR Officer (UK & Europe)

Full-time, permanent | Blackburn, Lancashire (hybrid, with occasional travel to our Newcastle-under-Lyme office) | £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience

About Radwell

Radwell is the world's leading provider of spare parts and repair services for industrial electronics, robotics and automation. For over 40 years we've helped manufacturers keep their production lines running. We hold more than 35 million parts in stock globally, our HQ is in New Jersey, USA, and our European business spans the UK, Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain and Poland.

The role

We're building our European HR function, and this role sits at its core. You'll own the HR systems and administration that keep six countries running: contracts, employee records, payroll changes, recruitment and onboarding. Getting these right is what everything else in HR depends on.

Based at our Blackburn site, you'll report to the European HR Manager and work closely with our HR Advisor in Newcastle-under-Lyme. You'll share the HR inbox with the Advisor: you handle day-to-day and system queries, they handle employee relations and policy advice.

We'll be upfront: much of this role is systems and admin. If you like being the person who makes processes work properly and want a real route into advisory HR, this is for you.

What you'll do

  • Triage the shared HR inbox and resolve day-to-day queries from employees and managers across the UK and Europe
  • Produce employment documentation for all our European entities: offer letters, contracts, contractual changes, probations, salary reviews and leavers
  • Administer family leave, flexible working, probation and appraisal processes, keeping track of deadlines
  • Keep our HR system (ADP) accurate for every European site, and help us improve how we use it
  • Prepare and submit monthly payroll changes across six countries
  • Coordinate recruitment end to end, including pre-employment checks, onboarding and inductions
  • Produce HR reports on headcount, absence, turnover and recruitment
  • Support employee relations cases by arranging hearings, preparing packs and taking notes
  • Help run engagement activity and our charity and community work, and improve our processes as you go

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
