About the Role

Build your HR career where people make the difference

A welcoming first day, a well-handled employee concern or a manager given the right support can make a real difference to someone's working life. At HRM Homecare, that work also helps the teams delivering care in people's own homes.

We're looking for an organised, approachable HR Officer who enjoys working with people, asks good questions and follows things through. You'll join a growing HR function with opportunities to develop your skills, funded CIPD study support and a broad remit across the business.

What you'll do

  • Support recruitment, interview candidates and represent HRM at recruitment events
  • Coordinate employment onboarding and safe recruitment checks
  • Support employee relations cases with accurate records, correspondence and practical manager support
  • Keep HR records and workforce reports accurate, monitor compliance and escalate unresolved concerns
  • Work alongside our Staff Development Officer and operational teams, providing independent HR oversight of people-management and workforce-development compliance

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
