Kaine Volunteer Management Capabilities Expansion

Kaine is looking to expand its volunteer management capabilities and so we would like an individual well-versed in HR Projects/Development to guide us in our journey to creating an efficient and legal process.

Ensure that all our employee/volunteer policies, processes, and practices are up to date, legal, and impact the organization and our volunteers in the best way.

What are we looking for?

  • Compassionate and really care about people and their development
  • Enjoy working with, and supporting people to be their best
  • Be proactive in coming up with, and implementing ideas, a do-er
  • Be confident in taking charge and owning this role, we’ll give you all the support you need to do this but you have to want to drive it
  • Love to bring joy, fun, and passion into your work
  • Experience with recruitment and managing others
  • Experience in HR Management/Development/HR Project Work
  • 2-3 Years HR Manager Exp
  • Strong experience of successful systems and process implementation and change in HR preferred
  • HR Degree / CIPD Level 5 or studying towards preferred
  • A Project Management qualification would be highly advantageous

What will you be doing?

HR Project Manager (6-12 Months)

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Develop overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
  • Ensure the operating systems the department needs to deliver effective service and processes are fit for purpose.
  • Ensure HR systems and processes for managing data comply with the organization’s data protection obligations, charity law, and other legal requirements.
  • Develop, lead, and champion the implementation of business improvement and people developments
  • Review Current HR/Recruitment Employee Policies and advise on necessary changes
  • Create and implement dispute resolution processes and policies
  • Support to recruit HR Advisor/ HR Administrator Volunteers
