As our HR & Onboarding Assistant, you’ll play an important role in delivering a smooth and welcoming onboarding experience for new employees while supporting the wider HR team with day-to-day operations. You’ll gain hands-on experience across a broad range of HR activities, including onboarding and inductions, employee records and HR systems, contingent workforce coordination, reporting, learning & development and wider people projects. It’s a varied role that would suit someone who is highly organised, proactive and enjoys working with people while building a career in HR.
Based out of our London office, this is a permanent role within our People function. At Credera, we operate a flexible hybrid working model, this requires 60% in office time in your local office. We value collaboration and client impact, so our hybrid model is designed to strike a balance between flexibility, in-person connection, and delivering exceptional outcomes for our people and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting new employee orientation, onboarding, and updating records with new hires.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files and HRIS records, and documentation.
- Assist recruitment with Onboarding trigger, Induction and Reporting for Contingent Workforce – including access to management of our freelancer management platform (Yuno Juno).
- Provide support to HR staff by preparing reports, conducting research, and consolidating data for analysis.
- Support ad hoc HR projects such as End of Year process, annual benchmarking, Benefits renewals, new vendor selection & ad hoc recruitment campaigns.
- Support the L&D function with monitoring of training, training budget and time tracking and ad hoc course logistics.
- Support HR-related training programs, workshops, and seminars.
- Keep updated on the latest employment law and HR best practices.
- Manage the contingent workforce by coordinating with vendors, processing contingent worker requests, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Serve as a point of contact for contingent workers and address any issues or concerns they may have.
- Act as payroll resource backup for periods of holiday leave for the current Payroll officer.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an HR Assistant, or relevant human resources/administrative position.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Experience with HRIS or HRMS systems.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in managing contingent workforce.
- Familiarity with payroll management and benefits administration.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
