We are The Hyde and our focus is on giving customers the best service possible through better for you beauty and guaranteed customer satisfaction. We offer a luxurious experience across nails, lashes & brows.
We currently have stores in Gerrards Cross, Beaconsfield, Henley-on-Thames and Amersham as we look to continue expanding.

Role Description
The HR & Operations role is a full-time, hybrid position based in the London Area, United Kingdom, with flexibility for some work from home.
This role includes full responsibility for end-to-end recruitment activities, HR processes, supporting salon team needs and various operational projects i.e. Apprenticeship schemes and The Hyde College.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:


Get help with your application

- Coordinating recruitment and onboarding
- Administering employee benefits
- Maintaining personnel records
- Supporting store managers
The role also supports operational efficiency across multiple locations by standardizing procedures, coordinating schedules, and helping ensure smooth daily salon operations.
The HR & Operations professional will collaborate with leadership to strengthen each store's team.
Qualifications
- Experience in Recruitment and Human Resources (HR), including hands-on support for teams in a service or retail environment.
- Skills in Personnel Management, including record-keeping and employee relations.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities to support operations across multiple locations.
- Knowledge of HR Policies and Employee Benefits, with the ability to implement and communicate these clearly and consistently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and collaborate with team managers.
- Experience with HR systems and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar tools.
- Understanding of UK employment practices; experience in the beauty, hospitality, or retail sector is an advantage.
- Relevant education or professional certification in HR, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
