Position Overview
PURESEOUL is a fast-growing, multi-brand retailer bringing the best of Korean beauty to customers across the UK. We are looking for a reliable, organised, and detail-driven HR Operations and Recruitment Assistant to provide essential day-to-day support to the HR function at our London Head Office. This role is well-suited to someone early in their HR career who is keen to develop strong operational foundations and gain hands-on experience in a busy, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
- HR Administration: Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems and physical files, ensuring all data is organised, up to date, audit-ready, and compliant with GDPR.
- Recruitment Support: Assist with recruitment by posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, initial phone screening, preparing candidate communications, and supporting hiring managers with coordination.
- Onboarding Assistance: Prepare contracts, induction packs, and new-starter documentation, ensuring all required right-to-work and onboarding materials are collected, verified, and filed correctly.
- Employee Queries: Act as a friendly and professional first point of contact for routine HR queries, escalating more complex matters to senior HR staff when appropriate.
- Absence & Leave Tracking: Monitor holidays, sickness, and probation-related attendance, keeping managers and HR updated and ensuring records remain accurate.
- Employee Engagement Support: Assist with organising training sessions, staff events, and internal communications to support employee engagement and development initiatives.
- General Administrative Support: Provide administrative support including preparing HR letters, updating spreadsheets, assisting with audits, and supporting HR projects as required.
- Dashboard & Data Management: Maintain HR dashboards, pull data from systems, and prepare accurate reports to support operational decision-making and long-term HR planning.
- Long-Term HR Projects: Support ongoing HR operational projects, contributing to process improvements, system enhancements, and wider strategic initiatives.
- ER Case Support: Handle investigatory ER cases, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, taking minutes, and escalating matters to the HR Advisor or HR Manager when required.
- System Maintenance: Ensure all HR documents and records are audit-ready, correctly stored, consistently maintained, and followed up on, keeping digital and physical files tidy, organised, and compliant.

- Experience in HR administration and/or Recruitment (1 year minimum), preferably in retail or fast-paced environments.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and basic knowledge of HR processes and confidentiality.
- Good written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable manner.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems.
- Positive, proactive, and willing to learn in a team-focused environment.
