⚽️ We’re on a mission to change the football transfer market.
TransferRoom is a hyper-growth B2B SaaS SportsTech company and the only digital marketplace in the world focusing on the global football industry.
We do this by empowering football clubs, agents and players to be successful in the transfer market by giving them real-time market intelligence and direct access to a global network of decision-makers.
TransferRoom has become a must-have for key stakeholders in football’s transfer market. It’s used by 800+ clubs, including Man City, Liverpool and Juventus, 550 trusted agencies and 8000 professional players. It has empowered clubs and agents to facilitate over 9,500+ transfers since its launch in 2017.
💻 What we’re looking for
We’re looking for an HR Operations Manager to join our mission to transform the football transfer market for the better. This is a hands-on, full-ownership role - you’ll be the person behind the systems, data, and processes that keep our People function running smoothly.
🏟️ Our Location
Our London office is at Bankside, with additional tech hubs in Poland and Ukraine.
Our office is naturally social, especially Tuesdays, Wednesdays, & Thursdays when we have regular team drinks, celebrations, and five-a-side football.
🎯 What you’ll be doing
- HR Systems & Data: Own and administer HiBob end-to-end - configuration, data integrity, reporting, and integrations with payroll, benefits, and TeamTailor. Build the dashboards and reports on headcount, turnover, and other People KPIs and continuously evaluate our HR tech stack.
- Compliance & Policy: Own UK and multi-country employment compliance, keeping us aligned with local labour law as we expand. Maintain the employee handbook and HR policies, manage right-to-work checks and visa submissions, lead contractor set-up in new jurisdictions, and own employee records management and data privacy compliance.
- Employee Lifecycle: Manage onboarding and offboarding processes end-to-end, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience, and support performance management cycles with logistics, tooling, and data.
- Payroll & Benefits: Partner with Finance to run accurate, on-time payroll, coordinate benefits administration, open enrolment, and vendor relationships, and be the first port of call when people have questions on pay, benefits, or policy.
- Automation & Process Improvement: Bring an AI-first mindset - build automated, scalable solutions, rather than waiting for tooling to catch up.
- Projects & Manager Support: Lead or support wider HR projects, and act as a go-to resource for managers on policy application and best practice.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
