About The Role
Reporting to the Head of HR Operations, the HR Operations Manager leads the HR Shared Services team and is a key contributor to the evolution of HR Operations across Vinarchy.
This role is accountable not only for the delivery of efficient, accurate and compliant HR services, but also for evolving HR Operations into a scalable, data-driven and digitally enabled function that supports the broader People & Communications strategy.
Operating at the intersection of people, process, technology and governance, the HR Operations Manager will play a critical role in simplifying ways of working, improving employee and manager experiences, strengthening data quality and controls, and enabling greater automation and self-service through the upcoming SAP SuccessFactors transformation.
Key Responsibilities Include:
HR Shared Services Leadership & Service Delivery
- Lead the global HR Shared Services team to deliver efficient, accurate and compliant support across the employee lifecycle.
- Ensure service levels, controls and operational performance remain effective throughout a period of organisational transformation.
- Establish and embed service management disciplines, including service catalogue ownership, escalation management, SLAs and continuous improvement practices.

HRIS Upgrade & Digital Enablement
- Act as the operational lead for HR Shared Services through the SAP SuccessFactors implementation programme.
- Partner with the Head of HR Operations, Payroll & HR Systems Manager, Payroll, IT, implementation partners and project stakeholders to progress key project deliverables.
- Drive operational readiness and adoption activities, including process alignment, stakeholder engagement, communications and readiness planning.
Continuous Improvement & Simplification
- Review, simplify and standardise HR processes across the employee lifecycle, eliminating unnecessary complexity and manual workarounds.
- Identify opportunities to standardise, automate and improve operational efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve employee experience, manager experience and service effectiveness.
Data Governance, Controls & Compliance
- Strengthen governance, controls and accountability across employee lifecycle processes and HR master data.
- Improve data quality, auditability and process compliance across HR Operations.
- Ensure critical processes are documented and supported through robust standard operating procedures.
Workforce Insights & Operational Reporting
- Establish meaningful measures for service performance, transaction quality, service demand and operational effectiveness.
- Improve the quality, accessibility and reliability of workforce and operational data, alongside the HR Systems team.
- Support the broader People function in building a more data-driven approach to decision making.
What You'll Bring:
- Significant experience leading HR Operations or HR Shared Services functions within complex, multi-country organisations.
- Demonstrated experience assessing and enhancing service delivery models or shared services functions.
- Strong experience leading or supporting HR technology implementations, ideally SAP SuccessFactors.
- Proven capability in process improvement and change management.
- Experience developing governance frameworks, operating models and accountability structures.
- Strong understanding of HR data management, operational controls and compliance requirements.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into practical operating models and operational outcomes.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across multiple functions and levels.
