About Us
Salience Labs is building an industry-defining approach to optical circuit switching for AI infrastructure, engineered for real latency reduction and cost savings. We're moving towards real-world deployment, and joining at this stage means genuine ownership over that next chapter, working alongside a highly technical team on one of the most consequential problems in AI infrastructure today.
The Role
Salience Labs is building next-generation photonic technology to transform connectivity for AI, HPC, and data centre systems. With teams across the UK, Germany, and the US, we are now at a stage where operational rigour in our People function is critical to scaling effectively.
This role sits at the core of our People team, reporting into Head of Talent. You will take ownership of the day-to-day running of People Operations, ensuring the business is compliant, structured, and building a consistent, high-performing culture across multiple geographies.
The core People infrastructure is in place, but there is still plenty to improve. This role will take full ownership of BAU People Operations, ensuring we are audit-ready and running cleanly, while steadily raising the bar on how our processes, systems, and standards operate as we scale.
What You'll Be Doing
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
