HR Operations Specialist (FTC)
Birmingham | Fixed-Term Contract - Hybrid
Are you an experienced HR Operations professional with a passion for process improvement and transformation?
I am partnering with a leading organisation to appoint an HR Operations Specialist to lead a high-profile project focused on redesigning and modernising HR service delivery.
Working across a complex multi-site environment, you'll review and streamline end-to-end employee lifecycle processes, improve HR systems and workflows, and help design a new HR Operations model that delivers greater efficiency, consistency, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and redesign HR operational processes across recruitment, onboarding, employee changes, absence management, and leavers.
- Analyse current HR and payroll workflows, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.
- Develop and support the implementation of a new HR Operations operating model.
- Optimise HR systems, processes, and data management.
- Establish meaningful service standards, KPIs, and performance measures.
- Partner with stakeholders to drive change and embed new ways of working.

About You
- CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience).
- Significant experience in HR Operations, Shared Services, or HR Service Delivery.
- Strong process improvement, HR Systems, and transformation experience.
- Excellent understanding of the employee lifecycle processes and HR systems.
- Able to influence stakeholders and challenge the status quo and deliver change.
