About the role

As the HR and Payroll Administrator, you will provide HR and payroll support across the business, managing the end-to-end payroll processes whilst ensuring compliance with UK legislation.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering a high-quality payroll service.

Responsibilities

  • Process weekly payroll accurately within tight deadlines
  • Prepare and issue payroll related employee documentation
  • Process starters, leavers and contractual changes
  • Act as first point of contact for all HR and payroll queries
  • Maintain and update HR and payroll systems with accurate employee data
  • Pension administration
  • Collate and post payroll journals into the accounting system
  • Produce HR Letters
  • Assist with the updating of policies/procedures and company handbook

About you

  • Payroll processing experience is essential
  • SAGE payroll experience is desirable
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
  • Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • Proactive, flexible and solutions-focused approach
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
