HR & Payroll Advisor

Location: 3 days in Lancing, West Sussex & 2 days in Bordon, Hampshire
Type: Full-time, permanent
Salary: £38k - £40k + Travel allowance package

Are you ready to take ownership of HR and payroll in a role where you truly make an impact? We are looking for an experienced HR & Payroll Advisor to be the go-to people expert for our UK team. If you love variety, autonomy and being the person everyone trusts for solid HR guidance, this role is for you.

You will manage end-to-end UK payroll in house, support employees and managers across all HR matters and help shape a positive, compliant and people-focused workplace. You will work closely with our Head of HR (EMEA) and UK leadership, supported by an external HR Consultancy giving you space to focus on what you do best.

What you will be doing

  • Running our UK monthly payroll in-house via SAGE — accurate, compliant and on time.
  • Being the first point of contact for all payroll queries.
  • Supporting recruitment activity and ensuring a smooth hiring process.
  • Advising managers and employees on day-to-day HR matters.
  • Handling ER cases professionally and in line with UK employment law.
  • Supporting performance reviews, development plans, and training coordination.
  • Overseeing HR admin delivered by our external HR support partner.
  • Working closely with Group HR to align UK processes with wider HR initiatives.

What you will bring

  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Hands-on experience managing end-to-end payroll, ideally with SAGE.
  • A confident, approachable communication style.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
