HR & Payroll Manager

- £45,000–£55,000 FTE, pro rata
- Flexible working – 30 hours per week to start
- 24 days’ holiday + bank holidays + your birthday off, all pro rata

What you’ll be doing
- Auditing our HR set-up from top to bottom and building a clear roadmap to improve it
- Owning ER casework – grievances, disciplinaries and consultations – by the book, every time
- Championing performance, appraisals, training and onboarding across the business
- Getting out on-site to embed the culture and become a trusted face for the team
- Heading up compliance, including health & safety, food safety and licensing
- Bringing our scattered systems and policies together into one simple, effective home
- Running payroll if that’s your bag – nice to have, but not a deal-breaker

What we’re looking for
- A seasoned HR generalist with real gravitas who isn’t afraid to challenge and be heard
- Someone who’s grown through HR properly – from administration to generalist to manager
- A change-maker who brings calm, structure and momentum
- Hospitality experience is a bonus, but brilliant HR instincts are non-negotiable
