We're delighted to be partnering with a high-profile UK Government organisation as they seek an experienced People Insights Lead to shape and deliver a data-led people strategy.
This is a unique opportunity to influence workforce planning and organisational decision-making at a national level, leading a high-performing insights function and ensuring people data is translated into meaningful, actionable intelligence for senior leaders.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the senior People leadership team, you'll lead the development of the organisation's People Insights strategy, driving evidence-based decision-making across workforce, recruitment and organisational priorities. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to connect people data with business objectives, providing insight that helps shape future workforce and organisational strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the People Insights function and develop a forward-thinking people analytics strategy.
- Deliver high-quality dashboards, reporting and insight products that support strategic decision-making.
- Translate complex workforce data into compelling narratives, identifying trends, risks and opportunities.
- Develop workforce planning, recruitment and people reporting frameworks.
- Provide expert insight and recommendations to senior leaders.
- Oversee statutory and government reporting requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement across people data, reporting and analytics capabilities.
- Explore the use of AI and digital technologies to enhance insight and decision-making.
- Lead and develop a small team of analytical professionals.

About You
You'll be an experienced People Analytics, Workforce Planning or HR Data professional with the ability to turn complex data into clear, strategic insights.
You'll bring:
- Strong experience producing dashboards, reporting and data visualisations using tools such as Power BI and advanced Excel.
- A proven ability to analyse and interpret complex people data from multiple sources.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders through data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to tell a compelling story with data.
- Strong understanding of data governance, accuracy and compliance requirements.
- Previous experience leading or developing analytics, insight or reporting teams would be advantageous.
