- Monday to Thursday: 08:00am to 16:30pm
- Friday: 08:00am to 13:00pm
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR People & Operations Coordinator to join our team at the LH Group (a Division of Wabtec UK Ltd) based in Burton on Trent. We support our customers through maintenance and operation optimisation with customised solutions for spare parts, repair, and overhaul activities on existing trains.
How will you make a difference?
To provide effective and efficient HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle, ensuring the accurate maintenance of employee records, HR systems and documentation. The role will support the HR function through the production, analysis and reporting of HR data, maintaining accurate headcount information, creating HR KPI dashboards and providing meaningful management information to support business decision-making.
What You Will Be Doing
- Manage full employee lifecycles (starters, changes, leavers) and employment contracts/offers.
- Maintain GDPR-compliant employee records, files, absence, and holiday data.
- Support onboarding, inductions, probation reviews, and HR inbox queries.
- Assist HR Managers with employee relations and meeting documentation.
- Update and maintain HRIS, databases, reporting lines, and headcount data.
- Audit employee data regularly to ensure accuracy and produce workforce reports.
- Build and maintain HR dashboards (Excel, Power BI, HRIS) for weekly/monthly KPIs.
- Monitor key metrics (headcount, turnover, absence, recruitment, diversity, training, retention).
- Analyse data to spot trends and support workforce planning.
- Ensure HR processes follow employment law, company policy, and GDPR.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and support internal/external audits with accurate records.

Requirements
- Previous experience in an HR Administrator, HR Coordinator or similar HR support role.
- Maintaining HR systems and employee records.
- Producing reports and analysing data.
- Working with confidential information.
- Creating HR dashboards and management information reports. (Desirable)
- Using Power BI or other business reporting tools. (Desirable)
