Role Description
We are looking for a hands-on HR & People Operations Manager to join ITTS and manage the day-to-day HR and people operations requirements of ITTS and its sister company, Certify Assessment Solutions.
While employed by ITTS, the role will support employees and an international network of independent contractors across both companies. This is a standalone, hands-on position with responsibility for both managing HR processes and carrying out the associated day-to-day administration directly.
The role will manage recruitment, UK visa sponsorship, employee and contractor administration, and the people-related elements of our ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications.
This role would suit an experienced HR generalist who is comfortable working independently, enjoys variety, and is happy to remain close to the practical day-to-day aspects of HR while helping us improve our processes as the business grows.
Key Responsibilities
HR Generalist & Employee Lifecycle
- Manage the end-to-end employee lifecycle, including contracts, onboarding, probation reviews, performance management, and offboarding.
- Maintain and update HR policies, employee handbooks, and HR documentation.
- Maintain the HRIS, or support the selection and implementation of an appropriate system if required.
- Advise the Managing Directors and General Manager on employee relations matters, disciplinary and grievance processes, absence management, and other day-to-day HR matters.
- Manage benefits administration, leave tracking, and payroll liaison with Finance.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in accordance with applicable data protection requirements and internal information security policies.
- Manage the HR and Speak Up (whistleblowing) inboxes, ensuring queries and concerns are handled confidentially, appropriately, and escalated where required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
