HR Process and Test Analyst

Contract Role - 3 Months Minimum

Hybrid Working - 3 days in office / 2 days from home

Day rate: £325.00 (Umbrella)

Start Date: August 2026

The HR Process and Test Analyst plays a pivotal role in enhancing HR operational effectiveness by improving end-to-end processes and ensuring Workday functionality is thoroughly tested, understood, and adopted across the organisation. This role blends analytical thinking, process optimisation, and hands-on testing coordination to support continuous improvement and strong business readiness for ongoing system and process changes.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage User Acceptance Testing for Workday enhancements, including planning test cycles, supporting testers, tracking defects, and ensuring changes meet business requirements.
  • Review and map key HR processes (e.g., employee movers) to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the redesign of workflows both within Workday and off-system, ensuring processes are streamlined, scalable, and aligned with organisational needs.
  • Prepare stakeholders for upcoming changes through documentation updates, training coordination, communications, and change management activities.
  • Partner with HR, IT, and operational teams to ensure alignment on requirements, testing outcomes, and process improvements.
  • Contribute to ongoing optimisation of Workday functionality and HR processes to enhance efficiency and user experience.

  • Experience supporting Workday configuration changes, releases, or functional updates.
  • Background in planning, executing, and managing UAT cycles, including defect tracking and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to analyse and document end-to-end processes and support redesign efforts.
  • Experience preparing stakeholders for new processes or system updates through training, communications, and readiness activities.
  • Skilled at building strong relationships across HR, IT, and operational teams.
