BAM UK & Ireland are looking for a highly organised HR Project Coordinator
To support the implementation and ongoing management of our Job Grading Project across the UK and Ireland on a 5 month FTC. This role will play a key part in preparing for implementation, ensuring job grading information is accurately captured and communicated, supporting stakeholder engagement and helping embed the new framework across the organisation.
Making Possible
Following implementation, the role will continue to support the ongoing governance and maintenance of the Job Grading framework, ensuring job profiles and grading information remain accurate, consistent and aligned with agreed principles.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a People transformation initiative and contribute to the successful rollout and long-term sustainability of a new job architecture and grading framework.

- Support the delivery of Job Grading implementation activities in line with the project plan.
- Prepare and coordinate project materials including job profiles, manager guidance, FAQs, presentations, procedures and communication updates.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
