Salary & Hours
£38,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on experience
Fixed Term Contract - 24 months
37.50 hours per week
5.6 weeks paid holiday per year including bank and public holiday allowance rising to 6.6 weeks upon 5 years' service

Job Introduction
Due to the continued growth and success of the Company, we have an exciting opportunity for an HR Project Lead to join the People Team at our brand-new, state-of-the-art Distribution Centre currently under construction in Doncaster.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in one of the largest projects within our logistics network. Working closely with operational leaders and project teams, you will support the delivery of people-focused initiatives that help bring a brand-new distribution centre to life.

From supporting large-scale recruitment campaigns and onboarding programmes to supporting the implementation of HR systems and operational projects, you will be at the centre of ensuring our people plans are delivered successfully. This role offers the chance to work across multiple functions including Warehouse Operations, Transport, Automation, Engineering, IT and HR, helping shape the future of our newest distribution centre.
Job Overview
- Project Management - Coordinate and support the delivery of HR projects, ensuring key milestones, timelines and objectives are achieved.
- Recruitment & Attraction - Support recruitment campaigns and workforce planning activities to ensure operational and project requirements are met.
- Induction & Onboarding - Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes, ensuring colleagues receive a positive and structured introduction to the business.
- HR Systems Implementation - Support the rollout of UKG Workforce Pro, working with key stakeholders to ensure a successful implementation and transition to business-as-usual operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Build strong working relationships across HR, Operations, IT and other business functions to support the successful delivery of people-related initiatives.
- Planning & Organisation - Manage multiple priorities, resources and project activities while maintaining accurate documentation and progress updates.
- Communication & Influence - Prepare and present information to stakeholders, providing updates, recommendations and support throughout project delivery.
- Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve processes, colleague experience and project outcomes across the Distribution Centre.

Minimum Criteria To Apply
- Previous experience supporting projects, programmes or large-scale business initiatives.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Full UK Driving Licence with the flexibility to travel frequently to other Distribution Centres and business locations in support of project delivery and operational requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working within a fast-paced logistics, distribution, warehouse or operational environment would be advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare and present information to a variety of stakeholders.
- Experience supporting recruitment, onboarding or people-related initiatives would be beneficial.
- Experience of HRIS, workforce management or business system implementations would be advantageous.
- A proactive and adaptable approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
