The opportunity

We're currently looking for an HR Projects (FTC- 6 Months) to join our HR Business Commercial team and help us deliver agile and reliable HR support across the UK Sales Unit. This role is primarily focused on supporting a key HR data and systems project, ensuring employee data is accurate, complete and up to date within our HRIS and Employee Communication portal. The role will also provide HR administrative support and assist with wider HR activities as required. You'll be part of the HR Business Commercial team and report to the HR Business Partner UK. The role is based in Bicester, UK. We recognize the value of in-person collaboration and have a 3 days a week in the office policy, but what matters most is having the time, tools and trust to get things done and to enjoy doing them.

Please note that this is a six-month fixed-term position and, internally, the role will be known as HR Trainee. The role has been created to support a number of HR projects and organisational improvement initiatives during a period of increased business activity. This is a temporary position established to meet a specific business requirement and is therefore expected to end upon completion of the six-month fixed-term contract.

The responsibilities

As an HR Projects Officer, you will play a key role in supporting critical HR system and data management activities, with a primary focus on ensuring employee data within our HRIS and employee communication portal is accurate, up to date, complete and maintained to a high standard. Working closely with the HR Business Partner UK, you will support HR projects, maintain data integrity, provide HR administrative support and assist with a variety of people-related activities across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain, validate and cleanse employee data within our HRIS, ensuring accuracy, completeness and data integrity.
  • Drive the transfer and maintenance of employee data and documentation within our HRIS, ensuring all employee lifecycle records and documentation are captured and stored appropriately.
  • Review and optimise employee lifecycle processes within our HRIS, ensuring workflows remain effective, compliant and fit for purpose.
  • Maintain and update employee-facing HR information and communication portal, ensuring content remains relevant, accurate and accessible.
  • Produce HR reports, metrics and data analysis from the HRIS to support HR and business decision-making.
  • Support HR audits, compliance activities and governance requirements through effective record management and data controls.
  • Work closely with managers and stakeholders to ensure employee information is maintained accurately and consistently across HR systems.
  • Build effective working relationships across the business and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide ad hoc HR administration and operational support across the HR team as required.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, detail-oriented and comfortable working with large volumes of employee data. You will enjoy problem-solving, have excellent attention to detail and be confident working with HR systems and multiple stakeholders. You will also be flexible and willing to support broader HR activities when required.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an HR Administration, HR Coordinator, HR Projects or similar support role.
  • Experience maintaining employee data and working with HR systems.
  • Strong understanding of HR administration and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Experience using Workday is highly desirable.
  • Candidates without Workday experience must have experience using another HR Information System (HRIS).
  • Experience working with employee data, reporting and data accuracy initiatives.
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, combined with a proactive mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and changing environment.
