Job Title: HR Recruiter

Location: Derby, UK (Work from Office)

Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week between Monday to Friday, operational hours: 08:00 - 18:15

Salary: £12.71 per hour

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our recruitment team in Derby. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in candidate sourcing, CV screening, and recruitment coordination. This is an office-based role, best suited for professionals who can join immediately and contribute to high-volume hiring activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and internal databases.
  • Screen and shortlist resumes based on job requirements.
  • Conduct initial telephonic or virtual screening interviews.
  • Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Ensure an excellent candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs and timelines.
  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities for multiple roles.
  • Prepare recruitment reports and maintain hiring metrics.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 0–3 years of experience in recruitment, talent acquisition, or staffing.
  • Strong experience in CV screening and candidate sifting.
  • Good understanding of recruitment processes and sourcing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience using ATS and recruitment portals.
  • Ability to manage multiple positions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in high-volume recruitment.
  • Immediate availability or short notice period.
  • Previous experience recruiting for UK-based roles is an advantage.

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (required)

Experience:

  • End-to-end recruitment: 1 year (required)
