Location: Harlow, Essex
(Office based with hybrid working available following probation)
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum
Hours: 35hrs per week, Full-time, Monday to Friday

We're looking for an organised and proactive HR & Recruitment Administrator to join our People team at AutoProtect Group. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has already gained experience in an HR administration role and has started studying towards their CIPD Level 3 qualification.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be the first point of contact for HR enquiries, manage our HR inbox, support recruitment across the business and ensure our HR administration is delivered accurately and efficiently.

What you'll be doing
- Managing the HR inbox, responding to or directing employee and manager enquiries.
- Providing HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle, including contracts, offer letters, contractual changes and references.
- Supporting recruitment from advert through to onboarding, including interview coordination and candidate communications.
- Coordinating pre-employment checks, including Right to Work, references and SMCR screening where applicable.
- Administering employee benefits, including pension, life assurance and healthcare.
- Maintaining accurate employee records within our HR system.
- Producing HR reports and management information.
- Supporting probation reviews and Occupational Health administration.
- Assisting with annual pay review and bonus administration.
- Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Taking meeting notes where required.
- Ensuring all administration is completed accurately and confidentially.

About you
Essential
- Previous experience in an HR Administration or HR & Recruitment Administration role.
- Currently studying towards, or already enrolled on, a CIPD Level 3 qualification.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.
- Professional, approachable and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
Desirable
- Experience using an HR Information System (Natural HR or similar).
- Experience supporting recruitment activities.
- Experience working within a regulated environment or financial services.
