Job Description
LGT Wealth Management UK LLP is a UK-based partnership, wholly owned by the private banking group LGT, which is in turn owned by the Princely Family of Liechtenstein. When we set up LGT Wealth Management in 2008, our aim was to offer a fresh approach to wealth management. Alongside the LLP we also have two other entities which focus on US and Jersey based clients. Our head office is based in London however we have a presence in Edinburgh, Jersey, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol and Manchester. The plan was simple: put our clients first by providing a transparent service, designed around what is right for each of them. Key Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes for new joiners
- Initiate pre-employment background screening for new joiners
- Add new joiners to and maintain the onboarding tracker by completing the relevant recruitment administration sections
- Issue standard onboarding communications to new joiners, including:
- an onboarding email requesting completion of personal information and document uploads in Workday;
- first-day confirmation communications;
- confirmation to the hiring manager once screening has been successfully completed, including the new joiner’s first-day agenda.
- Coordinate job requisitions, postings and advertising across approved internal and external recruitment channels
- Review applications against defined criteria and support the scheduling of interviews, assessments and selection activities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely communication throughout the recruitment process
- Coordinate interview logistics, including calendars, meeting rooms or virtual links, candidate travel arrangements and interview materials
- Prepare and manage recruitment documentation, including offer letters, employment contracts and pre-employment screening materials, in line with approved processes
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in the applicant tracking system and other HR systems
- Support the Recruitment Business Partner, HR Business Partners and hiring managers with candidate shortlisting, interview feedback collection and timely decision-making
- Track recruitment activity and prepare regular reports on vacancies, candidate pipelines, time-to-hire, source effectiveness and other agreed metrics
- Support onboarding handovers by ensuring required recruitment and pre-employment documentation (including uploading share code visa documentation where applicable) is complete before a new employee joins
- Assist in the annual re-screening of regulated employees
- Manage and monitor the onboarding and screening process via the third-party online tool Zinc
- Monitor the progress of background screening and follow up on outstanding actions where required
- Work towards conducting HR Interviews for entry level roles
- Assist with recruitment campaigns, careers events, talent pipelines, employee referral programmes and employer-brand initiatives including the Graduate Programme, Internship Programme and Work Experience scheme
- Respond to routine recruitment queries from candidates, hiring managers and employees, escalating complex or sensitive matters as appropriate
- Keep informed of recruitment best practice, internal procedures and relevant employment, equality and data-protection requirements
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes, candidate experience and recruitment administration
- Manage standard employment-reference requests for former employees
- Manage standard tenancy and mortgage-reference requests for current employees
- Assist in broader HR projects.

Key Skills and Competencies:
- Experience in an HR Recruitment Coordinator role preferably within Wealth Management or financial services
- Good knowledge of recruitment and onboarding HR processes, data management, and regulatory compliance
- Proficiency in HR and Onboarding systems (e.g., Workday and Zinc preferably)
- Strong analytical and reporting skills, solutions focused
- Ability to work in a high-pressured environment, adapting to varying stakeholders, and the ability to tailor their style accordingly
- Excellent organisational, prioritisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple vacancies and deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional, candidate-centred approach, with strong interpersonal skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Good stakeholder-management skills and confidence working with hiring managers, candidates and external suppliers
- Discretion, integrity and an understanding of confidentiality and data protection
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a wider HR team
