Umbrella Pay Rate: £20 per hour Umbrella

Summary

The HR Recruitment Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the implementation of the Children & Education Services Target Operating Model (TOM) for a local authority. This 3-month contract position involves providing comprehensive recruitment administration and coordination support. The coordinator will work closely with the Recruitment Lead, Senior Programme Manager, Business Analysts, and Business Support colleagues to ensure that recruitment activities are executed efficiently and within set timelines. This role is vital for the successful mobilisation of the programme and transformation of the workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update recruitment trackers for all vacancies related to the TOM.
  • Coordinate recruitment campaigns and monitor their progress against established timelines and milestones.
  • Manage job requisitions using Oracle Fusion.
  • Arrange interview panels, coordinate schedules, send invitations, and book meeting rooms.
  • Communicate with hiring managers, HR colleagues, and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Process employment offers and handle associated recruitment administration tasks.
  • Oversee pre-employment checks to ensure timely completion of clearances.
  • Escalate any recruitment delays, risks, or issues that could affect appointment timelines.
  • Support onboarding activities to facilitate a smooth start for new hires.
  • Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, and employment legislation in recruitment processes.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment records and audit trails.

  • Previous experience in a Recruitment Administrator, Recruitment Coordinator, Recruitment Assistant, or similar role.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple recruitment campaigns in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in coordinating end-to-end recruitment processes, including advertising, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
  • Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development in recruitment or HR administration.

Additional Information

  • Working hours are 37 hours per week.
  • The role requires 1-2 days on-site per week.
  • Bi-weekly payment schedule.
  • A DBS check is required.
