Your new role
This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to a senior HR leader, you will lead a busy HR Service Centre responsible for delivering a full employee lifecycle service. You will oversee service delivery, manage and develop a team of HR professionals, and ensure the provision of a responsive, customer-focused HR operation. Acting as the escalation point for complex HR matters, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to improve processes, enhance service standards and drive continuous improvement. The role also has significant involvement in HR systems, data management, compliance and the implementation of people-related projects and initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed
- Experienced HR operations leader with a strong track record of managing high-volume HR service delivery teams
- Previously worked as a Team Leader within a shared service centre, ideally having managed an HR team of Administrators and Advisors
- Confident people manager, skilled in coaching, developing and motivating teams to achieve excellent customer service outcomes
- Strong understanding of HR processes, employment legislation, GDPR and compliance requirements, alongside experience of working with HR systems and data
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, the ability to influence at all levels, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, process improvement and change delivery
- Ideally, knowledge of overseeing payroll processes
