HR Services Administrator - Tarmac
6-Month Fixed Term Contract

At Tarmac, we're looking for a HR Services Administrator to join our HR Services team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the employee lifecycle while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and delivering a first-class HR service across the business.
What you'll be doing
As a HR Services Administrator, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate and timely HR administration support, ensuring compliance with company policies, SOx requirements, and service level agreements.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Managing employee lifecycle administration, including starters, leavers, contract changes and ad hoc payments
- Processing amendments to employee contractual and personal information accurately and within agreed timescales
- Maintaining employee master data and HR records to ensure data integrity and compliance
- Supporting annual HR activities, including pay awards and SAP testing requirements
- Assisting with internal and external audits and ensuring documentation is maintained to the highest standard
- Providing guidance and support to stakeholders on HR processes in line with GDPR requirements
- Supporting the HR Services Manager with projects, initiatives and day-to-day operational activities
- Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) across key HR processes
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency and customer experience
- Working collaboratively to promote a positive "One Team" culture across HR Services

What we're looking for
We're Keen To Hear From Candidates Who Have
- Previous experience within an administrative or HR administration role
- Experience working within a HR Services or Shared Services environment
- Excellent organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A customer-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality service
- Good working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications
- A collaborative team player who enjoys supporting colleagues and driving positive outcomes
