Business Area: Nestlé UK&I

Location: York Office (minimum 2 days per week, Wednesday anchor day)

Salary: up to £30,000 depending on experience – min. 6 month fixed term contract

Position Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to join our HR Services Support team in York as a HR Services Coordinator on a 6-month contract. In this pivotal role, you’ll play a crucial part in maintaining smooth HR processes, ensuring compliance and fostering a positive employee experience. Your Impact

Where do we start… You’ll act as the key link between an array of different teams and stakeholders, working collaboratively to provide an excellent employee experience for all parties.

You’ll also:

  • Collaborate closely with your Talent Acquisition Partner to ensure successful and compliant onboarding of new hires. This involves issuing accurate documentation, liaising with occupational health and 3rd party providers, whilst maintaining communication with the new hire to ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Support the compliant processing and administration of employee movement in the business.
  • Answer HR related queries through our centralised ASK HR model, ensuring cases managed in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Identify key opportunities, for example to reduce the level of rework and work with our customers to manage expectations in line with timelines.
  • Drive continuous improvement activity across our HR Processes and ways of working.
  • Provide support and input into relevant projects within the wider HR Operations team.
  • Work as part of a wider HR Operations function to deliver end to end services and solutions to the business.

Your ingredients for success

As the successful candidate you’ll have experience of building great relationships and delivering excellent customer service across different stakeholder groups, both internally and externally. You’ll be able to adapt your style when needed and the confidence to challenge the status quo, acting as an ambassador to drive continuous improvement activities across everything we do. You’ll pride yourself on having a can-do attitude whilst working to a right first-time approach. You’ll also:

  • Ideally have experience in Human Resources administration.
  • Approach tasks in a well organised way, being able to manage multiple priorities at once.
  • Adapt to new ways of working and have strong administration skills.
  • Be able to deal with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Have experience of working to deadlines.
  • Forward thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions in a timely manner.
  • Understand the importance of being able to navigate your way through situations that can often be ambiguous and time pressured.
  • Be proficient in using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
