Are you an experienced HR professional looking for an opportunity to make an immediate impact within a unique and rewarding education environment? We are seeking an experienced HR Services Manager to provide leadership and oversight of the HR function during a period of long-term sickness cover. This hands-on role requires a proactive HR professional who can quickly build relationships, provide sound advice to senior leaders, and ensure the smooth running of HR operations.
Day-to-day Of The Role
- Oversee HR operations and HR service delivery across the school.
- Provide advice and guidance to the Senior Management Team.
- Review and update contracts, policies, and HR documentation.
- Work closely with and actively engage the Bursar.
- Manage payroll processes.
- Support and manage a range of employee relations matters.
- Ensure HR processes remain compliant and effective.
- Lead and develop the HR support team.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- CIPD Level 7 qualification.
- Previous experience in a senior HR Manager or HR Services Manager capacity.
- Experience in the education sector is preferred but will consider not for profit or other regulated environments.
- Knowledge of Teachers' Pay and Conditions.
- Familiarity with NJC Terms and Conditions and Agenda for Change frameworks.
- Strong employee relations experience.
- Experience advising senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly build credibility and operate autonomously.
- Enhanced DBS will be required due to the nature of the organisation.
