HR Shared Services Administrator | Birmingham (Agile Working - 1 Day Per Month in the Office) | £26,000 | 3 Month Temporary Contract

Are you an organised HR Administrator looking for your next opportunity within a fast-paced and collaborative environment? We are supporting a growing Birmingham-based organisation in the search for a HR Shared Services Administrator to join their people team on a 3-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working across a broad range of employee lifecycle activities and thrives in a high-volume, process-driven environment.

Working as part of a supportive HR Shared Services function, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of HR administration and employee support across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing a high volume of employment reference requests on a daily basis
  • Chasing line managers for outstanding probation review confirmations
  • Supporting new starters and prompting employees to complete onboarding information
  • Assisting with compliance activities, including Right to Work checks and DBS renewal monitoring
  • Supporting onboarding and employee lifecycle administration
  • Processing and maintaining line manager changes within HR systems
  • Reviewing, updating and testing HR process guides and documentation
  • Completing ad-hoc data cleansing and HR records maintenance activities
  • Providing general administrative support to the wider HR team as required

About You:

  • Previous experience within an HR Administration, HR Shared Services or People Administration role
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling employee data
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working to deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to liaise with managers and employees at all levels
  • Strong systems skills, including experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office
  • Proactive, organised and able to work independently
