About the Role
The job holder is an HR professional responsible for onboarding, offboarding, company culture, employee engagement. The role entails taking a strategic approach to internal communications and assisting to design, develop and execute the HR strategy, which ultimately supports a healthy workplace for employees’ growth and performance, in alignment with the corporate’s business objectives.
Employee Engagement:
- Support the engagement plan to attract and retain valuable employees, explore creative ideas and implement suitable initiatives to support employee engagement.
- Identify opportunities and develop an employee recognition programme.
- Lead the development and execution of employee engagement programs and foster the company’s culture ensuring all initiatives/activities are promoted and delivered.
- Develop, evaluate and execute internal communication plans to ensure the vision, values, initiatives, and organizational information are communicated regularly and effectively.
- Organise employee engagement events including birthday parties, special events, and team-building events.
- Define, structure and maintain an attractive and positive employer brand and help to design, develop and in line with the company’s diversity initiatives.
- Coordinate activities to create a quarterly HR newsletter as a medium to promote a positive company culture.

Onboarding:
- Create a system design to streamline and automate the onboarding process where possible.
- Organise pre-onboarding preparation in line with the company’s process and SLA providers.
- Enhance the new employees’ onboarding experience through welcoming communication.
- Performs the administration activities related to the start of the employee.
- Deliver the welcome session and monitor new employees’ induction training.
Offboarding:
- Communicate with the leaver’s manager to confirm their request.
- Organise and monitor the process, trigger relevant tasks to offboarding SLA providers, and complete the leaver’s resignation process on the OA system.
- Prepare relevant exit correspondence with the departing employee, attend exit interview and produce meeting minutes.
- Produce departing employee analysis report on a quarterly basis.

HR Administration:
- Issuing relevant company reference and verification letters; and respond to reference checks for departed employees.
- Make purchases for office events and raise POs accordingly.
- Carry out other duties assigned by the line manager.
Skills and Experience:
- 2-4 years in HR, People Operations or similar people-focused role
- Good analytical skills.
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent both in written and spoken English.
- Proficient in written and spoken Chinese is preferred.
