About The Role

We are currently experiencing an exciting phase of expansion at Churchill Estates Management, which has led to the creation of a dedicated HR team to support our ongoing growth. The HR Coordinator role is a vital addition to this team, tasked with ensuring a seamless and positive employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle. This office-based position located in Ringwood BH24 3FA offers a unique opportunity for a proactive HR professional to contribute to our organizational success. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing HR operations and administration, supporting recruitment and onboarding processes, maintaining HR systems and reporting, and providing employee relations support. Additionally, they will help foster a positive employee experience and support various HR projects aligned with our strategic objectives.

The HR Coordinator will serve as a key point of contact for managers and colleagues, ensuring all HR activities are conducted efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with GDPR and employment legislation. This role offers a collaborative environment where continuous improvement and professional development are valued, providing an excellent platform for career growth within a reputable organization.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in HR administration or operations, with a strong understanding of recruitment and onboarding processes. Experience supporting employee relations activities would be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a customer-focused approach. Proficiency in HR systems, preferably PeopleHR, and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, is required for producing reports and working with HR data. The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism is crucial. A proactive mindset, a willingness to learn, and ownership of processes are highly valued. Holding or working towards an HR qualification would be beneficial, underscoring our commitment to professional development.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the delivery of daily HR operations, ensuring efficient service delivery to managers and colleagues.
  • Manage employee lifecycle changes, including new hires, promotions, salary adjustments, contractual amendments, and leavers.
  • Prepare and review HR documentation such as contracts and offer letters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Support payroll administration and maintain accurate employee records within PeopleHR.
  • Manage the HR inbox, resolving queries promptly and escalating complex issues as necessary.
  • Coordinate key HR processes including appraisals, pay reviews, bonus schemes, and compliance activities.
  • Support the HR Administrator and act as an escalation point for administrative queries.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure adherence to GDPR and employment legislation.
  • Assist in end-to-end recruitment activities, including advertising vacancies, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting pre-employment checks.
  • Liaise with hiring managers, candidates, and recruitment agencies to facilitate a positive recruitment experience.
  • Support onboarding and induction programs, gathering feedback to improve the new starter experience.
  • Act as a super-user for PeopleHR, ensuring data accuracy and system effectiveness.
  • Produce HR reports and management information, including metrics on headcount, absence, turnover, and recruitment.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and service delivery.
  • Support HR projects and undertake additional duties as required.
  • Administer employee relations cases, including documentation, meetings, and record-keeping.
  • Monitor and track employee relations activities, absences, and probation reviews, ensuring timely completion of actions.
  • Conduct routine fact-finding meetings and support employee engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate employee recognition programs and support exit interviews, providing insights for continuous improvement.
