We are now looking at expanding the team with a HR Specialist / Business Partner to join our Kuwait organisation and play a key role in shaping our employee experience and delivering high-quality HR practices in close collaboration with our joint venture partner and regional/global colleagues from Arla Foods.

About the Role

As our HR Specialist / Business Partner, you will act as a vital support to our people leaders, ensuring that Arla’s people practices are embedded effectively while respecting local frameworks. You will be at the heart of our people agenda - driving culture and training activities for the full organisation, and HR operational excellence across the employee lifecycle.

How would you make an impact in this role

Engagement & Culture

  • Partner with people leaders to drive employee engagement initiatives
  • Promote Arla Foods Good Values and Good Leadership across the organization
  • Lead the execution and follow-up of engagement surveys (Barometer) and action plans

Employee Lifecycle Management

  • Structure and follow up on onboarding, offboarding, and all employee lifecycle activities
  • Ensure a consistent and positive employee experience across the organization

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Handle employee relations matters professionally and confidentially in collaboration with joint venture partners HR department

People Processes & Governance

  • Support recruitment processes and ensure adherence to established frameworks with our JV partner
  • Own and govern the compensation structure for Arla Kuwait employees, with input from joint venture partner HR and Arla Global HR
  • Maintain HR system accuracy and master data governance in Arla systems

What we’re looking for

  • Strong HR generalist experience with a passion for people, culture and engagement
  • Proven ability to collaborate across organizations and stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of HR processes, compliance, and employee relations
  • Experience working with closely with people leaders to support and develop the people agenda
  • Strong communication skills in Arabic and English is an requirement
  • Knowledge of Kuwaiti labor law is preferred
  • A hands-on, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
