We are seeking an experienced Tutor/Assessor to deliver high-quality teaching, coaching and assessment for the HR Support apprenticeship standard.

The Role

You will support apprentices to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to provide effective HR support and advice across a range of organisations. This includes teaching core HR principles, employment law, recruitment, employee relations, HR systems and professional practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging teaching and coaching aligned to HR Support standards.
  • Support apprentices to apply learning in real workplace HR scenarios.
  • Develop skills in communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving and professional judgement.
  • Guide learners in building portfolios and preparing for End-Point Assessment (EPA).
  • Embed equality, diversity and inclusion, compliance, confidentiality and professional standards.

Essential Experience

  • Experience working in HR, employee relations, recruitment, HR operations or people services.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies and the employee lifecycle.
  • Experience providing HR advice and support to managers and employees.
  • Understanding of HR systems, data management and compliance requirements.

We're Looking For Someone Who Can

  • Translate HR policies and employment law into practical workplace learning.
  • Coach learners through sensitive and confidential HR situations.
  • Deliver engaging, real-world HR training across the employee lifecycle.
  • Develop apprentices' confidence in providing compliant HR support and advice.

Typical Backgrounds

  • HR Advisor, HR Officer, HR Coordinator, People Advisor, Recruitment Officer, Employee Relations Officer or HR Manager.
  • Key Differentiator: This role combines HR administration, employee support and the practical application of employment legislation and HR best practice
