Job Title

An organisation undergoing significant growth and change is seeking an experienced HR professional to support the development of key people frameworks and processes. This is a flexible, part-time opportunity that can be delivered around agreed project outcomes, offering an initial 6-month contract with the potential to extend to 12 months.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review, harmonise and draft employment contracts, ensuring compliance with current employment legislation and best practice.
  • Update and modernise the employee handbook, supporting implementation and communication across the business.
  • Conduct a full review of HR policies and procedures, making recommendations for improvement and consistency.
  • Develop and standardise job descriptions, role profiles and responsibilities across the organisation.
  • Support the delivery and analysis of employee engagement and satisfaction surveys.
  • Create and implement succession planning frameworks for key business-critical roles.
  • Review and standardise absence, sickness and bereavement policies across the wider business.
  • Design and roll out Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to support retention, performance and future recruitment.
  • Develop business continuity plans and knowledge-sharing frameworks for key personnel.
  • Provide guidance on employment law, compliance and HR best practice.
  • Support wider HR projects and organisational development initiatives as required.

You will be an experienced HR professional with a strong background in creating or improving end-to-end HR infrastructure, policies and governance.

  • Experience of employment law, HR project work, organisational change, and policy development is essential.
  • Exposure to payroll, time and attendance systems, and HR transformation projects would be advantageous.
