HR Support Level 3 Apprentice

Starting at £8 per hour

Are you organised, approachable and keen to build a career working with people? We are looking for a motivated HR Support Level 3 Apprentice to join our HR&OD team and learn how a busy Human Resources service supports employees, managers and the wider organisation.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working towards a recognised Level 3 HR Support apprenticeship. You will develop practical skills in recruitment, onboarding, HR administration, employee records, HR systems, customer service and first-line HR advice, all while being supported by experienced colleagues.

What you will be doing

  • Supporting managers and employees with routine HR queries by email, telephone and face to face.
  • Helping with recruitment, interview arrangements, pre-employment checks and onboarding.
  • Preparing HR letters, forms, reports and other documentation.
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and using HR systems confidently and confidentially.
  • Supporting training administration and wider HR service delivery.
  • Learning from experienced HR colleagues and applying your apprenticeship learning in the workplace.

What we are looking for

  • A positive, professional and friendly approach.
  • Good communication skills and the confidence to work with a range of people.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to handle information carefully.
  • An organised approach to work, with a willingness to learn and ask questions.
  • Basic IT skills, including the ability to use Microsoft Office and learn new systems.
  • An interest in Human Resources, customer service and supporting people at work.
