HR Systems Analyst

My client, a leading international law firm, with an exceptional reputation within the private client and real estate sector, is looking to hire a HR Systems Analyst on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded HR function and play a key role in the ongoing development, optimisation and enhancement of the firm's HR systems landscape. Working within a collaborative HR Operations, MI & Systems team, you will be responsible for ensuring the HRIS operates efficiently, supports business objectives and delivers an outstanding user experience across the firm.

Reporting into the HR Operations, MI & Systems Manager, you will act as a subject matter expert for the firm's HR systems, partnering with stakeholders across HR, Finance and IT to drive continuous improvement, support system enhancements and maintain data integrity across multiple platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for the firm's HR system, providing expert support, troubleshooting issues and driving user adoption.
  • Support the ongoing development and delivery of the HR Systems roadmap across a range of HR modules, including Core HR, Payroll, Onboarding, Performance Management, Succession Planning and Reporting.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance and IT teams to develop, test and implement new system integrations and enhancements.
  • Manage and maintain position management processes, ensuring alignment with recruitment, workforce planning and finance activities.
  • Configure and maintain system workflows, security permissions, onboarding documentation and other key system functionality.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase automation and enhance the overall user experience.
  • Conduct system testing, release management activities and support platform upgrades and enhancements.
  • Perform regular data audits, reconciliations and cleansing exercises to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Support payroll-related system activities and ensure accurate data flow across interconnected business systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse business needs and translate them into effective system solutions.
  • Produce training materials, user guides and system documentation to support colleagues across the business.
  • Work closely with third-party vendors and support providers to ensure effective service delivery and issue resolution.

Requirements:

The successful candidate will have proven experience working with HR systems in a complex organisation and will combine strong technical capability with excellent stakeholder management skills. You will ideally possess:

  • Previous experience administering and supporting SAP SuccessFactors, including exposure to a variety of modules such as Employee Central, Payroll, Onboarding, Performance Management and Succession.
  • Experience delivering HR systems enhancements, upgrades and implementation projects from inception through to completion.
  • A strong understanding of HR systems architecture, integrations and data management.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to identify practical solutions to complex system challenges.
  • Excellent analytical capability, with experience interpreting data and providing meaningful recommendations.
  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs and complex formulas.
  • Experience working with stakeholders across multiple business functions and translating requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • SuccessFactors accreditation or certification.
  • Experience working with HR technology projects in a professional services environment.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and HR data governance best practice.
  • Exposure to payroll systems and related integrations.
  • Interest or experience in AI-enabled HR technologies and future HR system innovations.
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent practical experience.
