About the role:

The HR Systems and Data Analyst will be responsible for the maintenance and continuous improvement of HR applications and SAP SuccessFactors integrations and HR data. The role combines system maintenance and testing with accurate, secure HR reporting and analytics.

Working closely with our in-house SAP SuccessFactors systems specialist team and partnering our central HR teams: especially Payroll, Reward and Benefits, and HR Business Partners.

Key accountabilities:

  • Working with a third-party application support team to maintain day-to-day system activities, including system maintenance testing, configuration, role-based permissions, data integrity, payroll interfaces and SAP SuccessFactors integrations.
  • Monitor resolution of system defects, providing functional testing support releases and fixes, capturing clear results and user feedback to support ongoing system improvements and reporting tools system, reporting and tool improvements.
  • Keep guidance up to date and identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, automation and data quality.
  • Support the year-end annual performance and compensation cycles and provide up-to-date and accurate data for the calibration spreadsheets, in conjunction with Reward, and provide systems, reporting and analytics support to the Reward team with maintaining the year-end analytics tool.
  • Development and maintenance of analytics spreadsheets and reporting tools to support business insights and decision-making.
  • Turn HR data into dependable outputs for reward processes e.g. providing datafiles and analytics expertise to support Reward in delivery of Total Reward Statements, pay gap reporting and eligible earning files.
  • Support the delivery of HR data analytics, including rolling 12-month pay and benefits information and total reward analytics, contributing to continuous improvements in reporting, data quality and technology.
  • Provide systems and analytics guidance to colleagues on tools, reporting outputs, testing and system processes.

About you:

  • Experience of supporting or maintaining SAP SuccessFactors and payroll-integrated environment (specific experience with SuccessFactors Payroll module)
  • Hands-on experience of user acceptance, regression or integration testing, with a structured approach to investigating, recording and retesting defects.
  • Strong spreadsheet and data-handling skills including strong Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, filters, lookups and complex formulas), together with enthusiasm for learning new reporting and analytical tools.
  • Experience of HR data reporting and analysis, ideally involving reward, compensation, performance or payroll data.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail to validate, reconcile and analyse complex datasets to produce accurate and reliable reporting outputs.
  • Experience managing and analysing high-volume HR data, identifying discrepancies and producing accurate reporting outputs.
  • Curiosity about technology, automation and better ways of working, with the confidence to share ideas and challenge constructively.
