Role: HR & Talent Acquisition Advisor

Sector: Creative Consultancy & Market Research

Location: Central London

Full-time: 2 days in the office and 3 days WFH

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 + Bonus

Reporting to: HR Business Partner

Ref: VFR 3315

VisionFR is delighted to be recruiting an HR & Talent Acquisition Advisor for a growing, international business within the marcomms sector.

This is a varied, hands-on, role combining talent acquisition with operational HR support. Working closely with hiring managers across the business, you will manage recruitment activity while supporting the employee lifecycle, ensuring HR processes are delivered efficiently, consistently, and in line with employment legislation.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys balancing recruitment with generalist HR responsibilities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities of the HR & Talent Acquisition Advisor

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle across multiple business areas, from vacancy briefing through to offer management and onboarding, ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
  • Proactively source candidates and build talent pipelines for current and future hiring requirements.
  • Coordinate onboarding and induction programmes, working closely with managers to ensure new employees have a positive and well-structured introduction to the business.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems while providing day-to-day HR administration and reporting.
  • Prepare employment contracts, contractual amendments, and a range of HR correspondence, including documentation relating to employee lifecycle events.
  • Support payroll and employee benefits administration, ensuring information is accurate and submitted within required timescales.
  • Manage leaver processes, including exit interviews and associated administration.
  • Provide first-line HR advice to managers and employees, supporting employee relations matters and ensuring compliance with employment legislation and internal policies.
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and wellbeing activities, helping to create a positive employee experience.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of HR policies, procedures, and people-focused initiatives that support business growth.

Skills & Experience of the HR & Talent Acquisition Advisor

  • Previous experience in an HR Advisor, HR Generalist, or Talent Acquisition role.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment processes.
  • Good understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience supporting payroll processes and working with HR systems.
  • Exposure to employee relations matters and the wider employee lifecycle.
  • Experience working within a growing SME or creative business would be advantageous.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
