Tasks
What You'll Work On
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Own and drive end-to-end recruiting: job postings, candidate management, interviews, and active sourcing across functions
- Coordinate external recruiters and staffing partners where needed
- Manage and continuously improve our onboarding process so new team members hit the ground running
People Development
- Organise and track regular employee check-ins and performance conversations
- Support the planning and delivery of workshops, training, and coaching initiatives
- Help design and evaluate internal surveys to keep a pulse on team health

HR Operations & Administration
- Handle day-to-day HR admin: contract management, HR data maintenance, and preparation for payroll
- Be the go-to contact for employees on operational HR questions
- Support the UK Managing Director with organisational and administrative tasks — from scheduling and coordination to keeping things running smoothly in a lean team
Employer Branding & University Relations
- Drive employer branding initiatives that make us a recognisable name in the UK talent market
- Build connections with universities and organise campus-facing activities to grow our talent pipeline
Looking Ahead
As the UK team grows, so will this role. There's real scope to take on broader HR strategy, build out a team, and shape what HR at UK looks like long-term.
Requirements
What You Bring
- A degree or vocational qualification in HR, Business Administration, Organisational Psychology, or a related field
- Solid hands-on experience in recruiting and HR operations, ideally in a fast-paced or scaling environment
- Confidence with MS Office; experience with HR tools like Personio or applicant tracking systems (e.g. join.com) is a plus
- Strong communication and organisational skills — you stay structured even when things are moving fast
- Discretion with sensitive data and a genuine service mindset towards employees and candidates
- Enthusiasm for employer branding, university marketing, and building a culture people want to be part of
- A builder's mindset: you're energised by the blank page, not intimidated by it
