Your role
The Enterprise Technology Solutions department is looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Technology Lead to build, enhance, and support the core platforms that power our global People organisation. While SAP SuccessFactors is the primary HRIS, this role spans the full HR technology ecosystem — including automation tools, AI-enabled solutions, integration platforms, and adjacent HR applications. You will be responsible for technical implementation and continuous optimisation of these systems, ensuring reliable operations while driving meaningful improvements in employee experience, process efficiency, automation, and data quality. This is a delivery-focused role for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems and enabling HR teams through modern technology.
Your responsibilities
- Provide strategic and technical leadership to a high-performing team delivering critical HR technology initiatives.
- Offer expert, hands-on support across SuccessFactors and the broader HR systems landscape to ensure stability, continuity, and excellence in service delivery.
- Configure, optimise, and enhance core HR platforms, modules, and integrations to meet evolving business needs.
- Design, build, and troubleshoot complex interfaces between SuccessFactors and key enterprise systems such as payroll, finance, and identity management.
- Develop and maintain Python-based automation and AI solutions that streamline HR operations and elevate user experience.
- Translate HR and business requirements into scalable, future-proof technical solutions that drive operational efficiency and strategic value.
- Oversee change management, release cycles, and deployment activities across the HR technology ecosystem.
- Ensure rigorous compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory frameworks including GDPR, audit requirements, and data retention policies.
- Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues, ensuring reliability, resilience, and continuous improvement.
- Support internal teams with data uploads, audit responses, budgeting queries, vendor coordination, licence management, and adherence to risk policies.
- Lead platform upgrades, patches, and technical enhancement programmes to maintain system currency and performance.
- Maintain high-quality technical documentation and best-practice standards across all HR technology processes.
- Support data migration activities and champion data quality improvements across HR systems.
- Safeguard data integrity across all HR platforms, integrations, and workflows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
