HR Transformation Consultant
Location: London
Salary: £50,000 - £75,000 depending on experience
Working model: Hybrid
Security Clearance: Active DV clearance required
An excellent opportunity to join a leading professional services organisation supporting major Defence & National Security programmes, with a particular focus on workforce, people and HR transformation.
This role would suit an experienced HR transformation or organisational change professional who can combine strong HR knowledge with consulting skills, analytical thinking and the ability to work directly with senior client stakeholders.
You will work on complex programmes where organisations are looking to modernise their people functions, improve employee experience and introduce new operating models, processes and technology.
The role
You will take ownership of workstreams across client engagements, working with stakeholders to understand challenges, develop practical solutions and support their implementation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading HR and workforce transformation workstreams within client engagements
- Supporting the development of HR strategies, operating models and service delivery approaches
- Analysing existing HR processes, structures and employee experiences to identify opportunities for improvement
- Working with clients to define requirements and develop practical transformation solutions
- Conducting research, data analysis and stakeholder interviews to develop evidence-based recommendations
- Facilitating workshops and meetings with client teams and senior stakeholders
- Supporting the implementation of new HR processes, technologies and ways of working
- Developing high-quality presentations, reports and recommendations for clients
- Managing and supporting junior team members and reviewing their deliverables
- Building strong relationships with clients and contributing to wider business development activity

Depending on your background, there is also scope to work across areas such as HR technology, digital HR, talent and capability, learning and development, reward, recruitment, employee experience and organisational design.
What we're looking for
- Proven experience in HR transformation, organisational transformation or a specialist HR consulting environment
- Strong understanding of HR functions, operating models and the role of people strategy within an organisation
- Experience designing or implementing new HR processes, services or operating models
- Experience working with HR technology and understanding how technology can improve HR service delivery
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills
- Comfortable working directly with clients and managing multiple priorities in time-critical environments
- Experience leading workstreams and supporting or managing junior team members
- A proactive and commercially aware approach to consulting and client delivery
