We are partnering with a globally recognised premium brand to recruit an HR Workstream Project Lead for a high-profile transformation initiative across the EMEA region.

London based - 50/50 hybrid working

Initial 6 months contract with potential to be extended for needs of the project

£60,000

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering complex organisational change, working closely with HR, project teams and senior stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

This role would suit a proactive, hands-on HR professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and has experience leading HR workstreams within large-scale transformation, integration or business change programmes.

The Opportunity

As the HR Workstream Project Lead, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating and delivering all HR-related activities within a major transformation project. Acting as the HR lead for the programme, you will provide expert guidance on people-related matters, support organisational change initiatives and ensure all activities align with project objectives, timelines and governance requirements.

Working across multiple EMEA markets, you will collaborate with a broad range of stakeholders while helping to mitigate risk and maintain compliance with local employment legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the HR workstream for a significant EMEA transformation project.
  • Partner with project teams, HR colleagues and business stakeholders to drive successful delivery.
  • Develop and execute HR project plans, ensuring key milestones and deliverables are achieved.
  • Support organisational change initiatives, including workforce transitions and consultation activities.
  • Identify and mitigate HR-related risks across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Develop and implement change management and communication plans.
  • Monitor progress, track deliverables and provide regular stakeholder updates.
  • Ensure HR activities are integrated into the wider programme plan.
  • Maintain compliance with local employment legislation and internal governance requirements.
  • Support employee engagement and positive employee experience throughout periods of change.

About You

You are an experienced HR professional who combines strong project management capability with excellent stakeholder management skills. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, influencing decision-makers and delivering results within complex, international environments.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience leading HR workstreams within transformation, integration or organisational change programmes.
  • Experience operating in a complex, multi-country EMEA environment.
  • Strong HR generalist background with broad knowledge of people practices.
  • Demonstrable experience managing stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Experience delivering projects within challenging timelines and evolving business environments.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Degree-level qualification in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years' experience in HR project delivery, programme support or workstream leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of organisational change and change management principles.
  • Knowledge of project governance, risk management and project delivery methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Fluent English; additional European language skills would be advantageous.
  • Formal project management qualification desirable.
  • Experience within retail, fashion, apparel or consumer-focused businesses would be highly advantageous.
